Thanks to a high level of staff skill development, the Laboratory has built up the experience and authorisations required to control and improve the quality of production and processes, to increase the competitiveness in the implementation of current regulations and ensuring quick solutions to complex problems
MK laboratory also offers its expertise in consultancy: an internal team of professionals will support the customer and solve problems relating to constant adaptation to regulation of food industry and environmental field.
The consulting services offered by MK:

Thermal processes
Thanks to a high level of staff skill development, MK has built up the experience and authorisations required for:
- Design of thermal processes for the pasteurisation/sterilisation of food products packaged in glass, tin plate and plastic bags.
- Verification of the efficacy of thermal pasteurisation/sterilisation processes in the canning industry
- Validation of existing thermal processes to produce the documentation required for export to the United States (Temperature Distribution, Heat Transfer, Heat Penetration)
Industrial wastewater
Technical service and management for chemical, chemical-physical and biological wastewater treatment plants.
- Preparation of documentation for issue of authorisation by competent Authorities
- Design of first flush rainwater treatment and collection systems

HACCP
- Writing and review of self-control plans in accordance with Reg. (EC) 852/04 (updated Regulation)
- Courses for food industry personnel
- Writing of surveillance and consulting procedures during food certification audits and official inspections
Legionella
Writing and review of “Self-control plan for the prevention of the spread of Legionnaire’s Disease” in accordance with the Italian Ministerial Guidelines (Document no. 79/CSR/2015) for the identification and implementation of preventive and control measures in plants and the creation of an effective monitoring plan to prevent the risk of legionnaire’s disease, with performance of analyses on water supply and air-conditioning systems.
Swimming pools
Writing and review of “Pool Self-Control Plan” under the Agreement between the Italian Health Ministry, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano on health and hygiene aspects of the construction, maintenance and surveillance of swimming pools.
