Accreditations

Accred­i­ta­tion does not imply a reduc­tion in respon­si­bil­i­ties for the activ­i­ties performed; the labo­ra­tory main­tains sole respon­si­bility in rela­tion to third parties for all analysis work under­taken, and the MK Labo­ra­tory commits to complying with all applic­able safety require­ments as enforced by the rele­vant regu­la­tions and by the docu­ments, under an ACCREDIA convention.

The MK S.r.l. Labo­ra­tory is accred­ited by accred­i­ta­tion body ACCREDIA in accor­dance with the require­ments of the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 stan­dard, accred­i­ta­tion no. 1666L, in force since 2017.

ACCREDIA is a signa­tory to the EA-MLA and ILAC-MLA mutual recog­ni­tion agree­ments, which extend the validity of the laboratory’s accred­i­ta­tion across national bound­aries and inter­na­tion­ally to all coun­tries which are signa­to­ries to these agreements.

Use of the ACCREDIA mark

docu­ment ACCREDIA RG-09 ​“Regu­la­tion for use of the ACCREDIA mark”, currently in force, contains various points relating to the clients of accred­ited labo­ra­to­ries. In particular:

• 5.1.6 Accred­ited CABs shall signal to ACCREDIA any improper use of the Mark or logo.
• 5.3.4 The ACCREDIA Mark and any refer­ence to accred­i­ta­tion shall not be placed on a testing sample or a product (or a part of one) or be used to indi­cate product certification.
• 5.3.13 The ACCREDIA Mark, or any refer­ence to accred­i­ta­tion, shall not be used by the clients of accred­ited labo­ra­to­ries, nor shall they be used in docu­ments concerning the product or on the product. It is permitted to attach a copy of the test report. The lab shall inform its clients with regard to the reasons for this limi­ta­tion of use and it shall oversee adher­ence. Clients of accred­ited labo­ra­to­ries who carry out commer­cial activ­i­ties of accred­ited activ­i­ties (e.g. consul­tancy compa­nies, inter­me­di­aries) that issue test reports with results provided by accred­ited labo­ra­to­ries shall not use the ACCREDIA mark or the refer­ence to the accred­i­ta­tion of the labo­ra­tory that performed the test. They shall not use the ACCREDIA mark in any way on the offers of accred­ited services, but may quote the refer­ence to accred­i­ta­tion, reporting the accred­i­ta­tion number and the name of the accred­ited laboratory.
• 9.2 The ACCREDIA Logo, as well as those of IAF and ILAC are protected by law and thus illegal or fraud­u­lent use of them by accred­ited bodies and/​or by their clients will, where applic­able, lead to pros­e­cu­tion under the law.

The MK Labo­ra­tory utilises national and/​or inter­na­tional stan­dard analysis methods when avail­able, and when stan­dard regu­la­tions of refer­ence are lacking the Labo­ra­tory has devel­oped vali­dated internal methods. The test methods used will be spec­i­fied in the test report for every para­meter corre­sponding to the matrix of the mate­rial for exam­i­na­tion, unless specif­i­cally requested to the contrary. More­over, on the Client’s request the Labo­ra­tory provides infor­ma­tion and expla­na­tions regarding the test methods and tech­niques used.
